El Paso Hockey Association to join NAPHL 14U Showcase Division
El Paso, TX, April 8th 2021 – The El Paso Hockey Association is excited to announce that they will be joining the NAPHL and participating in the 14U Showcase Division for the upcoming 2021-2022 season. The NAPHL has established itself, over the past 12 years, as a premier grounds for development and exposure. This past season, a record number 55 players from the NAPHL were tendered to play in the NAHL for the 2020-2021 season. Additionally, a remarkable 120 NAPHL players played in the NAHL this past season.
“This is a huge opportunity to showcase the talent of our players to the country and will also guide in the development of our association as a whole,” said Hayden Kowalski, Youth Hockey Director for the El Paso Hockey Association. “This is the next step in developing our players to play against top-tier talent and eventually have them move on to play in the NA3HL and NAHL.” Corey Heon, General Manager of the El Paso Rhinos Jr. Hockey Team added, “This is a great opportunity to further develop our youth – giving our players another platform to grow and mature as players is the ultimate goal. It is a very exciting time for our program.”
El Paso Hockey Association’s 14U NAPHL Showcase team will attend three showcase events throughout the upcoming season: Blaine, MN, Detroit, MI, and Frisco, TX. This team will have unique opportunities throughout the season to elevate their training, develop their skills, and showcase their talents to the rest of the country.
