Defenseman Andrew Ketterer, has re-signed to play his final year of Juniors for the Rhinos.
He returns to build on a very solid half season as a Rhino 19 points (5g, 14a) in 26 games.
Ketterer will provide the Rhinos with veteran leadership, maturity, and solid blue line play.
After playing in Peoria (CSHL) with former Rhinos goaltender Anthony Natali, Andrew started last season in Dubuque (CSHL).
Unhappy with his playing time Andrew looked for a change and spoke to Natali about El Paso and decided to make the move to El Paso.
“Last year I only got to spend less than half the season in El Paso and absolutely loved it. After talking with Coach Herman and my parents I decided that it would be best for me to come back for my last year of juniors. We have a tight knit group of guys returning and I know that the coaching staff has been actively pursuing some younger talent. Bottom line is that I want to win a Thorne Cup and a National Championship.”
“Andrew was a great pick up for us last season, his experience, leadership and composure will continue to be a big asset to our blue line.” – Rhinos Head Coach Cory Herman
