Players travelling from as far as Alaska will compete for a spot on the 2009-10 Rhino team this weekend. Players under contract will visit the team Doctor’s facility to have full physicals by the training staff and team Doctor. After physicals, training camp will start Friday afternoon with fitness testing Friday night.
Many veteran and Rhino hopefuls arrived last weekend for an open camp and an opportunity to get some extra ice time before main training camp.
Andrew Duff was very solid during the open camp but the biggest surprise was the play of Casey Lutz. Donald Geary and Navarone Copley had solid outings in the first camp as well.
