Recruiting players often times comes from tips or friends or former team mates of current players.

This is very much the case with Williams.

Oliver comes to the Rhinos as a former teammate to current Rhino forward and fellow New Yorker Frankie Posillico,

Reunited as teammates Oliver hopes the partnership will bring forth similar results as the last time they played together…

Suffolk PAL Jr. B  2009 National Champions

“I’ve been looking for Frankie (Posillico) on the stretch pass since we were 10 years old”.

“I came to El Paso because I saw what playing here did for Frankie, I know the play is faster and more physical out here than back east and that’s what I felt I needed to keep developing as a player.”

“Oliver is a puck moving defenseman, who can also skate the puck out of his own end. He will eat up minutes as a defenseman playing in all situations for us this season”.

– Trevor Converse Director of Player Personnel

“Oliver will help us this season he’s an offensive defenseman that can move the puck very well, he has good vision and will be expected to make good decisions and hit our forwards in transition”.
