Years with the Rhinos?
This is my second season.
What are you looking forward to this season?
I’m looking forward to always being with the boys, the home crowd, the atmosphere, and making a Thorne Cup run.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
My personal goal is to help the team in every way possible and focusing on doing the little things it takes to win games. My goal for the team is to come together, buy into the system and ultimately win the Thorne Cup.
What is one of the funniest moments you’ve had during your time as a Rhino?
On our second bus trip last year, my roommate Chad Cesarz and I had a rock, paper, scissors showdown for the last bunk on the bus. The whole team gathered around in a huge circle and we played a best of 7 series of Roshambo. “Ceez” was disqualified the first two matches because he shot too early. Then I took the next two, no problem, and won the bunk. It was awesome because he got so mad.
What is the best part of playing for El Paso?
The best part of being a Rhino is being a part of a winning tradition. And, it’s knowing that every game, when you put on the jersey, you have 19 other guys willing to sweat, bleed, battle, and do whatever it takes to win. Also, there’s nothing like a home game in Rhino Country. We definitely have the best fans in the league.
What is something few people know about you?
Few people know that I have an addiction to golf. During the summer, I play five to six times a week.
