Two of El Paso’s biggest animal shelters are set to hold Adoption Days before El Paso Rhinos games in the upcoming 2014-2015 season.
Humane Society of El Paso and Animal Rescue of El Paso, both non-profit no kill shelters, have made it their life’s work to rescue stray, injured, and abused companion animals.
Both organizations will hold their Adoption Days in the early half of the season.
Representatives from the Humane Society will facilitate pet adoptions on Sunday, October 26th at 1 PM. Afterwards, the Rhinos will take on the Texas Attack with puck drop at 4 PM. The Humane Society will be participating in Chuck-A-Puck during period intermissions.
Representatives from the Animal Rescue League will facilitate pet adoptions on Sunday, November 23rd at 1 PM. The puck will drop at 4:30 PM with the Rhinos facing off against the Dallas Ice Jets. The Animal Rescue League will also participate in Chuck-A-Puck during period intermissions.
For Rhinos fans who are interested in adopting a four-legged friend into a loving home, both organizations will require that potential adopters be 18 and over and possess a valid government-issued ID card. Adoption applications and information will be available on-site.
