Tulsa held the lead in the 1st until Rashad Harris scored late in the first to send both teams to the locker room tied at 1. The second period saw Tulsa climb back on top until Harris again answered in the third period with the equalizer.
Neither team was able to find the net in OT which resulted in a shootout.
Rhino net minder Arthur Hollinger stood tall turning away all shots, and Marcus Wilhite provided the final answer to the weekend’s play, sealing the Rhinos first ever shootout victory, with a nifty five holer on Tulsa goalie Mike Davis
Hollinger stopped 113 shots, and allowed only 5 goals in three games.
The Rhinos penalty kill stands at 100%, shutting down 28 Tulsa powerplays.
