Game 1: Mudbugs 4 @ Rhinos 2
Davis Goukler’s two points helped lead the Shreveport Mudbugs to a 4-2 win over the El Paso Rhinos. Tyler Behl knocked home his first of the season while Timofei Khokhlachev and Austin Brummer each tallied a goal in the win for the Mudbugs. Donovan O’Neill and Matt Johnson lit the lamp for the Rhinos. Devon Bobak remained hot was her allowed just two goals on 24 opportunities. Lassi Lehti stopped 27 shots for El Paso.
Game 2: Mudbugs 3 @ Rhinos 2
Austin Brimmer scored his the fourth round of the shootout to give the Shreveport Mudbugs a 3-2 win over the El Paso Rhinos. Garrett Steele registered both of the Mudbugs goals including thee game tying goal with just 1:42 left in third period. Graham Harris and Jonathan Horn were the goal scorers for El Paso, who never trailed in the game until the end. Devon Bobak continued his hot streak as he made 33 saves on 35 shots. Lassi Lehti stood on his head, making 43 stops on 45 opportunities.
