El Paso Rhinos had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-3 win over Valencia Flyers.

 

Jack Strusz was a peerless playmaker for El Paso Rhinos, as he dished out four to beat Valencia Flyers,.

Valencia Flyers' power play was ineffective against El Paso Rhinos' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

El Paso Rhinos forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up eight minors and one major for 41 minutes in penalty time. El Paso Rhinos surpassed its season average of 28.0 penalty minutes per game. El Paso Rhinos' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Valencia Flyers power plays.
