So far, so good for El Paso, though Tulsa forced some soul-searching as Nic Power put the Rampage up 1-0 with an unassisted short-handed goal scored just 1:26 into the second period.  But El Paso has been digging deep to preserve its streak all season. Friday night was no different.
    

On the power play, leading scorer Marcus Wilhite took a feed from defenseman Costi Hinn and Austin Balko and put it by inundated Tulsa goaltender Mike Davis at 12:18 of the second.

Then, at 15:59 of the second, Balko notched the game-winner from Nick Gorup and Wilhite.The Rhinos outshot Tulsa, 45-17, in the game, as Davis was named the game's Third Star after stopping 43 Rhinos shots.

 Arthur Hollinger stopped 16 of 17 Rampage shots and is second in the WSHL with a 1.61 goals-against average.

Marcus Wilhite is tied for fourth in the league with 23 points on 11 goals and 12 assists. The Torrance, CA, native earned Second Star while Balko earned First Star honors after getting the game winner.

El Paso will face Tulsa twice more, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. MDT and Sunday at 5:30 p.m. MDT.
