The captain helps coach his Squirt team.

Tad Norris, captain of the Rhinos inaugural team, signed on with the NAHL's Kenai Brown River Bears. Norris is a true leader on and off the ice and was instrumental in the success of the Rhinos in their first season. Coach Cory Herman added, "Tad was a great leader and was a big part of our hockey team going to Nationals last season in Grand Rapids.  He was a pleasure to coach and we wish Tad all the best with the Brown Bears this season."  Tad's was very dedicated to the youth hockey program and spent much of his time coaching our young players. He involved himself in the El Paso community and the Partners in Education program; he will be missed by the El Paso Hockey Association parents and players, the Rhino coaching staff and all the Rhino Fans. We congratulate the Brown Bears on acquiring a great player and even better person.
